Join Edmunds Senior Road Test Engineer Jason Kavanagh in New Hampshire as he checks out the 2018 Honda Accord. The Honda Accord enters its 10th generation as a completely redesigned car for 2018. It’s wider, lower and more comfortable than ever. The Accord’s cabin is larger and designed to offer a more upscale experience, with more premium materials and a new user interface. “You’d think the price would go up as a result, but it’s only gone up a little bit,” says Jason. “You’re getting a lot more standard equipment in a newer car for not much more money. It’s kind of a win-win.”

Jason drove the 2.0T version, which comes with a turbocharged two-liter engine and Honda’s first-ever 10-speed automatic transmission.

When will the 2018 Honda Accord be available?
The base 1.5T version of the 2018 Honda Accord is available on October 18, 2017. The 2.0T will be available at the end of November 2017.

When will Honda Accord Hybrid be released?
A hybrid version of the 2018 Honda Accord is expected in early 2018.

What are Honda Accord trim levels?
For 2018, the Accord will come in six trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L Navi and Touring. All six trims come standard with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (192 hp, 192 lb-ft of torque) and a continuously variable automatic transmission.

A: The 2018 Toyota C-HR starts at $23,495 for the base XLE trim. The XLE Premium starts at $25,345. That higher price adds features such as power-folding mirrors, blind-spot monitoring and heated front seats.

Our Edmunds EV expert Dan Edmunds, director of vehicle testing, tests out the 2016 Tesla Model X EV's towing prowess while hauling a 1,500-pound Happier Camper HC1 fiberglass trailer. After all, this electric vehicle does have a tow hitch and a 3,500-pound tow rating.

Part 3 is the fairly easy final segment of the Tesla Model X tow test, starting from Truckee, California (400 miles north of Lake Tahoe). Of course there is the little matter of 4,000 feet of elevation gain in one of the stints between Supercharger stations, which caused some anxiety.

This third day of driving 283 miles totaled about 9 hours, while day four of driving 213 miles took about 7 hours. The total trip summary: 1,013 miles in 39 hours, 54 minutes, with 11 stops. The average charge time: 1 hour and 13 minutes.
